The Word of Life

We have no life unless we abide in Christ. He is so great and merciful, making Himself available to us by faith. We can do utterly nothing of value apart from God. If we wish to have fruit, we must be in God. Even the Son said, 'Why do you call Me good? Only God is good'. Our righteousness is from what we perceive our Father doing in Christ. Our righteousness comes from knowing the Lord Jesus and the Father God. And Jesus Christ has revealed Him to us. He is the Word of Life; we can taste and see now that the Lord is good. His Word is sweet, just as life is sweet, to those who obey Him; His Word is bitter, just as death is bitter, to those who do not obey Him. He shows Himself devious to the devious, but pure to the pure.
