The Gospel

Through the Gospel the believer is saved, as he sits with Christ in heavenly places, so we walk in the Spirit and sow to the Spirit and stand against the wiles of the enemy; we endure until the end, holding fast to the Gospel which we first came to believe. I will call to remembrance the scripture of Ezekiel 16: what God has done for us isn't because we're so great, but because we were so helpless; God's grace had nothing to do with us, He gave us love unmerited; so if we boast, we boast in Christ, in His great riches and mercy which He has for us. We are His workmanship, made useful to the Master through His working in us, and we enter into His rest by faith.
