The First and the Last

The Lord Jesus has no beginning nor end, but He is the Beginning and End. He was last on earth, and the Father exalted Him first over all, supreme over His creation. He is the eldest, yet firstborn, existed from the beginning. He is the complete Word: the Alpha and the Omega. He lived out obedience to its full, and on His account a blessing to the whole world came about. He is the living Word, the Word of Life, He created all things. He was dead, but now lives forevermore! Since He became last of all, even His own creation, God exalted Him first over all and ruler of all His creation. Whatever we do unto the least of these, we do unto Him; He was with God in the beginning, but humbled Himself as a servant.
