The Father and the Son

A contrast between the Father and the Son. There is a saying, "Like Father like son". So the son is like the father, and the daughter like the mother. Jesus Christ is the perfect Son, doing everything the Father told Him to do and say. He resembles God in His exact likeness, for He is the perfect Son. Therefore, He is the Mediator between us and God, for we also have been made sons. We can only come to the Father through Him; and no other way will work. Only through Christ do we have access to the Father. Our prayers are to the Father, through the Spirit of holiness, in the name of the Son, Jesus Christ. We ask and receive because we ask in His name because the Father Himself loves us, because we love Him and obey His commandments.
