Tabernacle Courtyard

Everything in the tabernacle had a covering: the altar had the meat, the wash basin had water, the gold altar had incense, the table had bread, the lampstand had lamps with oil; the Ark of Testimony had it's covering of atonement. The Tent of Meeting had a covering; only the courtyard had no covering. Likewise, we have a covering: Christ Jesus. He is the atonement, the bread and water of life, the light of our darkness, and the incense of our prayers. And we are the temple of the living God, offering spiritual sacrifices to God through Christ. He is your head, nourishing the body making it to grow as it ought to grow; He makes it to mature into perfect form, complete and at rest in holiness.
