The Good News

There are trustworthy sayings Paul gave Timothy and Titus; there are also commands he charged them with. We are all not called to the office of Timothy or Titus, but there are many trustworthy things here. He commanded them to speak these things to the church; and we are the church, so we should listen to these things. We ought to heed these things and look deeply into them, holding fast to them until the end. These men were committed with a trust, for they were deemed trustworthy; so they were given trustworthy sayings. We ought to esteem highly men as these who humbly served the Lord; for they serve the Lord for our sakes that we may partake in the promise of God.
