Sanctification defined: going from what is earthly (south, or below) to what is heavenly (north, or above);
from what is wrong (left, west) to the right (right, or east) being sanctified;
going from what is made with human hands, to that which is made without hands;
from what pleases men, to what pleases God, from doing what is right in your own eyes, to what is right in God's eyes.
Sanctification comes by the truth; "Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.” (John 17:17)
So sanctification is God's work: only believe. On the sabbath, the men rested and the priests worked and were guiltless;
"You shall surely observe My sabbaths; for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you.” (Exodus 31:13)
