God uses these symbols of everyday life to show us how ministry is. The farmer sows and reaps, he is first to eat the fruit of his labors. The soldiers stays separate from civilian life. The fisherman waits patiently for a catch. The athlete competes according to the rules. Let God's Spirit show you the meaning of these things so that you may be wise in your labors. Let the Lord guide you in the way which leads to everlasting life.
