The Good News

The woman's head is man, and she is his body. Christ is our head, that means we are His body: the church. The church is brought forth out of Christ's body just as Eve was created out of Adam's body. Adam's body was broken for his wife; and she is subject to her husband just as the church is subject to Christ. Whoever doesn't care for his body hates his own flesh; Christ loved us and gave up His life for us - He cares for us. The head is a symbol for authority, and the body is under the head. The head is over the body, so the head is ruler over the body. We are the body of Christ.
