Justification and Salvation

Just as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead. Only living faith will save you, made possible because of the Living Sacrifice of Christ. How beautiful this truth is! You must be made right before you can ever do right; justification proceeds sanctification. Jesus Christ justifies us through the sacrifice of Himself; and if justification comes from His death, how much more will we be sanctified (and saved) by His life? If by His weakness we were justified, how much more will we be saved by His strength? If He loved us in His death, how much more in His resurrected life? If justification comes by faith, how much more sanctification? The new covenant: faith in Jesus Christ.
