Grace and Truth

The law is physical, the Gospel is spiritual; and greater is the Spirit than the flesh. Through the law comes a knowledge of sin, but through grace and truth comes the knowledge of God. We have a choice: which tree to eat from. God has restored to us one command: believe. Enter into covenant with God through His oath of promise fulfilled by Jesus Christ; He fulfilled the oaths God made to the patriarchs, to David, and through the prophets. He was gracious to promise with His mouth and strong enough to perform with His hand. The law reveals our conscience, and Christ, full of grace and truth, reveals the invisible God. First was the ministry of sin and death, then the ministry of righteousness and life. How great the glory of the gospel of God!
