The Good News

Cultivating the soil is the ministry of repentance, for the hardened ground is broken up when one who confesses his sins. And planting the seed is preaching the word of faith, the good news of the Kingdom. This is what it means to be born of water, to repent and be baptized; this was the ministry of John and the apostles. John never did any miracles, nor laid his hands on anyone. And then the miracle of God is passing through death and remaining alive - just as Israel passed through the Red Sea. Jesus mentioned, the baptism of the Spirit and Fire... This is the harvesting to eternal life and threshing is the suffering we will endure. Jesus baptized in the Spirit; the apostles laid hands on men to receive the Holy Ghost.
